Kamran Ishtiaq bumped into 43-year-old Mr Cameron in the lobby of the
Hyatt Hotel on his return from the final leaders’ debate at Birmingham University.
He said: “He was tired and had his coat over his shoulder. I put some
questions to him and he gave me ten minutes.”
Kamran Ishtiaq, who is also the president of the British Pakistani
Youth Council, which tries to prevent the radicalisation of youngsters, asked
Mr Cameron how the Tories would fight the war on terror.
“His exact words were ‘the prevention scheme is a shambles, we’re going
to change it’,” said BPYC President Kamran.Ishtiaq
